Inspiration as WiDS Ambassador

As a WiDS Ambassador, I hold the privilege and responsibility of organizing regional and local events under the global WiDS initiative. This role enables me to host impactful workshops and conferences within my locality, in alignment with the goals of the WiDS community. My motivation for organizing these events stems from witnessing the inspiring talks of women leaders in the field, which sparked a desire to create similar opportunities for others.

The second WiDS Erlangen 2024 Took Off in a Captivating Way!

The second edition of Women in Data Science (WiDS) Erlangen 2024 regional conference, that is part of the annual WiDS worldwide conference, which is organized by Stanford University and held in over 200 locations around the globe, made a spectacular debut. This year’s gathering was a significant milestone, bringing renowned speakers and researchers to showcase the latest trends and innovative advancements in data science. The two-day conference provided a platform for women to share their insights, foster inclusivity, and help promote the representation of women in STEM fields.

WiDS Erlargen Makes History as the Trailblazing Host of the First International Conference at DDS, FAU!

WiDs (Women in Data Science) conference erlangen took significant strides towards addressing the underrepresentation of women in the field. The conference successfully united professionals and enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds within the realm of data science.

• Aim and Mission

The aim of the WiDs conference was to foster inclusivity and provide a platform for women to showcase their expertise, experiences, and accomplishments in the data science domain. WiDS 2023 event was particularly special as it marked the first of it kind at the time Friedrich Alexander University at the department of datascience in Erlangen hosting such an inspiring gathering. The event featured a diverse range of speakers who shared their knowledge and experiences in areas such as machine learning, data visualization, and ethics in AI.

WiDS ERLANGEN conference brought together a wide range of professionals and enthusiasts from various fields within data science. Attendees represented a rich tapestry of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, fostering an environment of cross-disciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.
